Expanded pipe cleaning portfolio
With cleaning skids and centering carriages, Woma is making pipe interior cleaning even more flexible for operators. The two centering devices for high-pressure nozzles cover diameters between 100 and 1,500 mm. Within this area of application, deposits can be removed from sewer and pipe walls efficiently with an operating pressure of up to 3,000 bar. The portfolio is complemented by upgraded pipe cleaning nozzles as well as tried-and-tested vortex jet nozzles for smaller pipe diameters. Plant operators in the chemical or oil and gas industry can effectively prevent damage caused by blocked pipes.
Woma offers the right solution for diverse requirements with a range of modular products. The cleaning skid together with the TD 3000-SCS turbo nozzle is suitable for diameters from 100 to 350 mm. Depending on the requirements, this solution offers an operating pressure of maximum 3,000 bar as well as a volume flow of up to 45 l/min. The centering carriage together with the TD 1200-S turbo nozzle is designed for larger pipes (410 to 1,500 mm) and operating parameters of up to 1,200 bar and 120 l/min.
Both centering devices are supported in the pipe on three runners or runners with rollers, each of which are attached with a scissor-type frame. Depending on the respective pipe diameter, the scissor-type frame can be extended or retracted in order to position the carriage or skid centrically. In this way, the distance between the nozzle holder head of the water tool and pipe wall remains constant – and a uniform cleaning result is achieved.
For smaller diameters, Woma has upgraded its range of robust pipe cleaning nozzles in order to focus on current core sizes. Operating pressure (maximum 1,500 bar) and volume flow (maximum 76 l/min) can be adjusted to suit the particular application and system in order to achieve the best possible cleaning results. Self-rotating vortex jet nozzles round off the portfolio for smaller pipe diameters. Depending on the configuration, a maximum operating pressure of 2,500 bar and a maximum volume flow of 337 l/min are achieved.
