EFFICIENT CLEANING AND PAINT REMOVAL OF SHIPS AND BOUYS WITH HIGH-PRESSURE WATERJETTING SOLUTIONS.
WOMA offers high-pressure waterjetting solutions for cleanling and paint removal on ships and buoys.

Effective cleaning and paint removal with up to 3,000 bar high-pressure water.
Treatment with water at high pressure enables high area performance in a short time and lets surfaces look like new. The substrate is optimally prepared at the same time. Completely without chemicals. Completely without blasting material. Surface cleaning and renovation in one step and with minimum disposal costs. Conventional sand blasting methods for cleaning ship hulls are very contaminant-laden and environmentally harmful. For environmental reasons and due to the high disposal costs of contaminated blasting material, sand blasting is being increasing replaced worldwide by ultrahigh-pressure jet technology.
High-pressure water jetting produces only very low impact forces. Layers are removed selectively, without attacking the base material. Damage to structures is also eliminated, just as are blasting material residues. In contrast to this, sandblasting leaves residues on the treated surface that are not visible to the naked eye, which gives rise to faulty coating.
Neither gases nor slags are produced No chemical or abrasive additives are used in the application, which means that the quantity of material to be disposed of is reduced to a minimum. The result is convincing in all cases: high cleaning quality, high effectiveness even in difficult to reach areas, high cleaning quality and a high degree of protection for user and environment.

Fast and effective removal of algae and shells
WOMA high-pressure waterjetting technologies can do much more than just cleaning ships.
What high-pressure jetting can do for ships applies also to buoys, cans and beacons, in docks, on barrages and ship lifts. As with ships, the fast and effective removal of algae, barnacles and other problematical deposits is a core task in the value retention and maintenance of navigation aids and construction plants.
The mobile, compact and flexible-use high-pressure systems from WOMA are available for the highly varied application areas. These systems achieve high cleaning and surface performances. If required, surfaces can roughened and damaged locations exposed in the same working operation.
TURBO NOZZLE COMPACT TD-C: ERGONOMIC – LIGHT – COMPACT
The TD-C is used for industrial cleaning, surface treatment and removal tasks and is designed for a pressure from 500 bar to 3,000 bar and a maximum nominal flow rate of max. 45 l/min.
The TD-C is a lightweight and compact alternative to the existing TD-3000 SCS series. In direct comparison, the dimensions and weight have been reduced. The nozzle can therefore also be used in confined cleaning environments and impresses with its low vibration emissions.
Advantages at a glance:
■ Optimised with substantially reduced dimensions
■ 3-stage speed setting via intuitive slider control
■ Speed regulation via magnetic field-oriented induction brake, wear-free and without friction loss
■ Nozzle carrier head with hydraulic self-drive through adjusted nozzle openings
■ Easy maintenance and short set-up times – no special tools required.
Application and areas of use:
■ From 500 bar cleaning of surfaces, e.g. graffiti removal
■ From 1,000 bar treatment of surfaces, e.g. roughening
■ From 2,500 bar removal of surfaces, e.g. concrete removal

Cleaning of ships
RRC NAUTIC: A NEW GENERATION OF WOMA SURFACE PREPARATION TOOLS
Ultra-high-pressure cleaning, blasting and surface treatment for all areas of and on the ship
VERSATILE IN USE, HIGHLY EFFICIENT.
The RRC Nautic series is a surface preparation tool specially developed for cleaning and stripping vertical or inclined surfaces in the marine industry. It is particularly suitable for treating rusty areas, paint stripping and surface preparation.
Applications
■ Cleaning:
removal of dirt, seaweed and marine growth from the ship‘s hull (up to 600 bar)
■ Decoating/Paint Stripping:
removing old layers of paint and varnish in preparation for repainting
■ Surface preparation:
preparation of surfaces for the application of anti-corrosion coatings

■ Always the best possible setting: individual support arm segments can be exchanged for others and twisted together using the flanges
■ Suitable for mounting on loading arms, dockside arms, aerial work platforms and device carriers
■ Modular product design: complete assembly as well as arm and cleaning unit also available separately
■ Infinitely adjustable rotation speed (500 to 3,000 rpm)
■ Standards for surface preparation:
-SA 1-1.5 up to 1,500 bar
- SA 2-2.5 up to 3,200 bar
■ Optimised extraction efficiency: No dirty water emissions thanks to CFD (flow simulation) simulated housing design
■ Rotating bushings and nozzle elements arranged parallel to the direction of movement
■ Flexible adaptation of the removal tool to changing surfaces for optimised cleaning and removal results
■ Service-friendly design concept, simple servicing and maintenance without special tools
